Chaohewan (or Tide River Bend) Scenic Area is an S-shaped river course formed from tidal erosion in the past centuries, hence the name. Adhering to the panning concept of “Riverside tour with countryside fun” and the operation pattern known as “scenery-led events”, the scenic area is committed to the development of a hundred mu (approx. 6.6 hectares) of sunflower belt, a thousand mu (approx. 66 hectares) of aquatic plant garden and ten thousand mu (approx. 660 hectares) of canola flower field, and establishment of the brand known as “Appealing Haohe”
Under the guidance of Xi Jinping's concept of ecological development, Chaohewan Scenic Area and Chaohe Village are committed to exploring an integrated development of agriculture and tourism, construction of the Beautiful Countryside and the Well-Off Society.
